NCCC GOVERNING BOARD

The North Central Counties Consortium (NCCC) is governed by a Governing Board composed of one member of the Board of Supervisors from each of the member counties of Colusa, Glenn, Sutter and Yuba. The Governing Board provides oversight and administration of the Consortium's federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funds and governance of NCCC's organizational activities.

Roles/Responsibilities

Grant recipient for WIOA Title I funds and, as a joint powers authority, assumes liability for proper expenditure of funds including ovesight of local programs
Oversees NCCC internal business operation activities including personnel
Appoints Workforce Development Board (WDB) members
Establishes an annual budget
Develops the Local Workforce Development Plan in partnership with the WDB
Selects program operators and approves training providers in partnership with the WDB
